Regularly Scheduled Activities

There are a number of meetings or workshops held throughout the month for your participation. Most of them do not require any special costuming or equipment, with the exception of the martial arts. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the officers and coordinators. Click the links in the bulleted list to jump down the page:

  • Baronial Council Meetings (once a month: day/location changing, watch for announcements)
  • Newcomers Meetings (by request, and a Coffee Meet-up once a month on a Friday)

  • Arts and Sciences workshops (3rd Monday of the month, locations vary)
  • Bardic Circle (approximately bi-monthly, Rolling Hills Estates)
  • Cooking Guild (approx 1x month, see yahoogroup for locations)
• Martial Arts
  • Archery Practices (Tuedays in Los Angeles, every Sunday in Long Beach [except as conflicts with events])
  • Monday Fighter Practices (both Armored Combat and Rapier Fencing, Long Beach—Noe and Idunn Colleges)
  • Wednesday Fighter Practices (both Armored Combat and Rapier Fencing, El Segundo)

Meetings

Baronial Council Meeting

• Council Meetings: Join us on the first Monday of the month (Day is changing! Location is changing!) for our Baronial Council meeting. Meetings are open to everyone. Officers and Guilds report on the month's events, and general information about upcoming events is discussed. Come in your modern clothing, and join us afterwards for socializing and food at a nearby restaurant.

Baronial Planning Meeting

• Planning Meetings: These are more detail-specific meetings for the coordinators and autocrats who are organizing the upcoming events. The meetings are open to anyone who would like to assist with event planning.
