Caid Fall Crown Tournament

The Pageantry of Caid

Their Majesties Edward and Mora call all citizens of Caid to bring forth their finest and join them for a tournament to determine the Heirs to the Thrones of Caid. To mark this occasion in grand fashion, all baronies, shires, cantons, colleges, households, war bands and individuals are charged to bring out their finest in tournament pageantry. The field shall be awash in the finest of Caid with silk banners waving, swords shining and the fighters prepared to fight for the honor of the Crown of Caid.

The call comes from the Barony of Lyondemere and it's ample shores and cool breezes to those in Caid that wish to fight for the honor of the Crown. To all warriors that wish to challenge the best of Caid, make your cry known! To all consorts, companions, and everyone else in the fine Kingdom, this is the time to show your pride and bring out your displays of pomp and pageantry!

Territorial groups and those willing to provide services to the field will have first choice of eric-front space. For reservations, please contact fallcrown2008lyondemere.org to reserve space on the list field. We are calling out to all households, warbands, and territorial groups that would like to sponsor a field for the day! We are looking for groups to provide shade and water for each of the list fields. Please let the stewards know when you make your reservation that your group would like to help.

Site Fees

• Site Fee: $7.00 per person over the age of 12
• $5.00 for those ages 5-12 (under 5 free)
• Non-members please add $3.00
• Children under 3 are free

Directions

From the 110 Freeway South Bound: Exit at Sepulveda Blvd., turn right approximately 4.2 miles, turn left on Anza Ave for .6 miles, turn right on Calle Mayor. The school is on the left. If you get to Pacific Coast Highway, you have gone too far.

From the 405 Freeway North Bound: Take the CA 91/Artesia Blvd. towards Redondo Beach for .2 miles, turn right on CA 91 W/Artesia Blvd. for .6 miles, turn left on Hawthorne Blvd for 3.2 miles, turn right on Sepulveda Blvd. for .4 miles, turn left on Anza Ave for .6 miles, turn right on Calle Mayor. The school is on the left. If you get to Pacific Coast Highway, you have gone too far.

From the 91 Freeway West Bound: Take the 405 north towards Santa Monica for 5.1 miles, take the CA 91/Artesia Blvd. towards Redondo Beach for .2 miles, turn right on CA 91 W/Artesia Blvd. for .6 miles, turn left on Hawthorne Blvd. for 3.2 miles, turn right on Sepulveda Blvd. for .4 miles, turn left on Anza Ave for .6 miles, turn right on Calle Mayor.
